“The whole process felt very easy and stress-free.

I had a really positive experience with Oxford Iron Clinic. Udeshika and Ilona were all fantastic—very attentive, caring, and reassuring throughout my iron infusion. I never felt rushed, and they took the time to explain everything clearly both before and after the treatment, which made the whole process feel very easy and stress-free.

James at Oxford Iron Clinic was also incredibly helpful from the start, always replying very quickly and making everything smooth and straightforward to arrange.

Overall, the service was professional, kind, and efficient, and I would highly recommend Oxford Iron Clinic to anyone considering treatment there.

I can’t wait to see how the iron infusion changes my life! I will definitely go again if I need to!

“Outstanding support and fast turnaround.”

I had an excellent experience with Oxford Iron Clinic and cannot recommend them highly enough.

From my very first call with Jamie, the level of support and efficiency was outstanding. Once he understood the time-sensitive nature of my situation and the pressure relating to my aviation career, he arranged everything incredibly quickly. I was able to have my iron infusion completed within just two days of my initial enquiry, which was truly impressive.

I then met with the consultant director, who was highly professional and took the time to fully understand my case. The medical report provided was clear, detailed, and tailored to meet the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements, which significantly helped to speed up my medical certification process.

Every member of the team I encountered was caring, attentive, and professional throughout. I felt genuinely supported at every stage.

I have full respect and appreciation for the team, and I would highly recommend Oxford Iron Clinic to anyone, particularly those needing prompt and reliable care in time-sensitive situations.

On the day Dr Weerabaddana and Daniela the nurse greeted me warmly and put me at ease.

Having low iron symptoms and feeling dreadful I struggled to get much help from my Gp so decided to contact Oxford Iron clinic for advice. I had a online video consultation with Dr Weerabaddana which was very thorough and she not only gave good advice but carefully listened to all of my symptoms and concerns. I then proceeded to book my infusion, James took care of this for me and answered my numerous questions with expert knowledge as well as patience as I was very nervous.

On the day Dr Weerabaddana and Daniela the nurse greeted me warmly and put me at ease. They looked after me so well and the treatment went very smoothly. I have felt the benefits already with no side effects so am over the moon as I have upcoming surgery and now feel stronger to cope with it.

I would not hesitate to recommend The Oxford Clinic.

Quick and efficient service, with knowledgeable clinicians”

From when we made our first call to find out how an iron infusion works, to the day of the appointment, my husband and I received nothing but kindness, respect and assurance that we were receiving help from knowledgeable staff- Drs and Nurses alike.

The consultation was very thorough and expectations set about the procedure, process and when I’d be seen to have an infusion. It took a few days to be booked in after the consultation which was imperative for me as I needed an infusion ASAP.

I was seen in a timely fashion by the team of two lovely nurses and Dr Pavord during the infusion, and was given information on aftercare which I’m applying and is helping a whole lot.

It has been only a few days and I can feel an improvement and my husband has also seen it too!

I’d recommend the Oxford Iron Clinic to anyone who needs support with their iron deficiency/anaemia – you’ll be in safe hands!

“Superbly efficient and kind”

The information in the lead up to my consultation and treatment was clear and thorough.

I was seen quickly following my first enquiry and able to clarify any points I needed on the way.

The staff were friendly and provided detailed information about my treatment both during and for after care.

“We chatted so much I forgot my anxiety

I’ve had many iron infusions before at other clinics and this was we hands down the best experience, Dr Udeshika and Daniela were so warm and caring, we chatted so much I forgot my anxiety and the treatment passed by quickly. They were extremely professional and executed the treatment smoothly, quickly and completely painlessly.

After feeling dismissed by other doctors who did not recommend infusion, Dr Pavord was very responsive, I appreciated her bedside manner, I felt listened to and cared for, and I appreciated how the clinic was able to very quickly move me through consultation to treatment without having to wait. I felt that she treated me as a whole person, rather than simply responding to numbers on a blood test. Thanks very much!

“They made my daughter feel relaxed.

Daniella was so warm and friendly and could not have done more to explain what was happening and to make my daughter feel relaxed. Thank you so much.

You really have transformed my life.

I went to see my GP in January after suffering from utter exhaustion, hair loss, breathlessness, tinnitus, heart palpitations and other symptoms. I had a blood test which showed my serum iron to be under range and ferritin only 5.

After being fobbed off by my GP who said my results were ‘borderline’, I was fortunate enough to have private healthcare through work and arranged a referral to the Oxford Iron Clinic.

I spoke to Dr Pavord who diagnosed severe iron deficiency and recommended an iron infusion which took place the following week.

The team were so helpful, I felt listened to for the first time and now, two weeks post infusion, I feel like a different person. For the first time in over 10 years, I’ve got the energy to do something other than work and collapse on the sofa in an exhausted heap.

Thank you so much to the whole team, you really have transformed my life.

Sue is one of the most experienced in her field...

Sue is one of the most experienced in her field and after extensive research, I’m here now having my iron infusion.

Sue spent 22 mins on the phone with me prior to the infusion basically informing me what nobody else has ever told me in terms of how and when to take my PPI medication and wow, the best money ever spent.

James, upon submitting my request, gave me a courtesy call. Danielle at the clinic was just amazing and 38 years in the industry, knew her stuff.

Overall, an experience I would certainly do again if needed. Thanks all.

After being totally brushed off and invalidated by my GP when my serum ferritin levels came back at 10…

I just want to share what a positive experience I had with the Oxford Iron Clinic and Dr Sue Pavord.

After being totally brushed off and invalidated by my GP when my serum ferritin levels came back at 10 and I was living with daily, debilitating symptoms, I spoke to Dr Pavord directly on the phone and she was so kind, compassionate, and down to earth.

She offered me a consultation through her clinic 3 hours later that same day, where we went through my medical history, current symptoms, blood results etc.

She then recommended an urgent iron infusion in her clinic in Oxford for 7 days later. Within 15 minutes of the consultation, Sue had sent me a clinical letter detailing our discussion, her diagnosis, and recommended treatment.

Her clinic manager, James, also made contact with me that very first day and could not have been more helpful. I received my iron infusion on the 30th Jan, and the staff in the clinic were equally as wonderful and kind. It was a stress free, easy experience and I felt so looked after.

I did feel a little rubbish for a few days after, symptoms similar to a heavy cold where you feel quite achy and low energy.

But 10 days on, I feel brand new. I can now walk a few steps without feeling breathless, dizzy, or like my heart is beating out of my chest. I am no longer floored by crippling fatigue regardless of how much sleep I get. My mind is clearer and daily headaches have gone.

My reason for iron deficiency is due to malabsorption, and so I know this will probably be an ongoing and lifelong issue for me.

But when I need further support or treatment, I will be going straight back to the Oxford Iron clinic.

I’ve had many iron infusions before at other clinics and this was we hands down the best experience.

Dr Udeshika and Daniela were so warm and caring, we chatted so much I forgot my anxiety and the treatment passed by quickly. They were extremely professional and executed the treatment smoothly, quickly and completely painlessly.

Worth every penny.

After years of struggling with low ferritin and anaemia, and getting very little support from the NHS, I finally decided to seek private care. I am so pleased that I did.

The care that I received from the entire team was exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I felt listened to, cared for and supported throughout.

Worth every penny.

“Being 28 weeks pregnant…

Daniella and the registrar that was with her was brilliant, especially being 28 weeks pregnant.

They really put me at ease about having the iron infusion, they stayed with me throughout never left the room.

Honestly felt so supported!

The staff were wonderful and very knowledgable.

They made me feel safe with the procedure and that my comfort was in the forefront of their minds at all times.

It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend going privately for an IV Iron Infusion.
