Full Service
The consultation will cover your diagnosis of iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia and options for management.
Please note that the consultation + treatment is £790 (i.e, £220 for the consultation + £570 for the iron Infusion).
We offer a full consultation with one of the Oxford Iron Clinic’s consultants covering iron deficiency management, anaemia, women’s health and haematology. Each consultation involves a thorough review of your medical history and your blood count results. The consultant will then discuss any problems with you, inform you about iron deficiency and the treatment options so we develop a clear and effective treatment plan that is right for you.
Consultations are usually done face-to-face and where appropriate patients can proceed straight to an iron infusion while at the clinic. The total time you will be with us is approximately 90 minutes (consultation + infusion all in one efficient visit).
ZOOM / MS Teams consultations: We are happy to host online video conferencing that can help save valuable time on occasions where people are traveling long distances or for people who want more detailed insights about whether an iron infusion is the right choice.
Overseas patients: We are happy to provide zoom / MS Teams online video conferencing for oversees patients who want high quality opinions about their problems, iron deficiency and their blood results. We will undertake a full medical review and make recommendations for iron treatment with a formal clinic letter. Many people find this a very practical way to inform their local doctors and enable the correct treatment needed in their own home country.
Consultations and iron infusions are booked and paid for in advance by bank transfer.
If you have medical insurance, you will be required to provide evidence of authorisation before your appointment.
