Iron Infusion treatment.
A cannula (small plastic tube) is inserted into a vein in your arm or hand and connected up to the iron solution via an infusion giving set.
The iron is diluted in 100mls of normal saline (normal salt solution).
The dose of iron will be determined by your weight and height.
If an excess dose of iron is required, any extra cost will be discussed with you in advance.
