The Results

Score: 0 – 3 Symptoms

Your iron levels may be adequate, but if you still don’t feel “right,” it’s worth investigating other markers like Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, or thyroid function.

Score: 4 – 6 Symptoms

Borderline Deficiency. You are showing several classic signs of low iron. Even if your Ferritin is “within range” (which can be as low as 15–30 ng/mL in some labs), many patients feel symptomatic until their levels are significantly higher.

Score: 7 – 10 Symptoms

High Probability of Iron Deficiency. Your symptoms strongly correlate with iron deficiency. You aren’t “crazy,” and you aren’t just “tired from work.” Your body cells are probably struggling to function efficiently and you may be becoming anaemic, with loss of effective oxygen transport to the body organs.
